BOB Gear Revolution Flex 3.0 Duallie Jogging Stroller
Best BOB Gear Double Stroller
If you’re searching for a double stroller with all the BOB Gear benefits, the Revolution Flex Duallie is one to look into. It’s great for jogging or strolling through town.
The Flex Duallie is BOB Gear’s signature double stroller, which originated in 2001. Different versions, including the Pro, Flex 2.0, and Flex 3.0, are now available.
The front wheel features a swivel-lock function, giving extra maneuverability or stability when needed. Air-filled tires and mountain bike suspension is also included for the best ride possible.
An adjustable handlebar will suit any driver, and the seats can recline almost fully to accommodate a sleeping baby. It’s also car seat compatible if you’ve got a new addition on the way.
What We Like
Excellent on Various Surfaces
The Duallie is for adventurous parents who wish to bring two children with them, whether on the trail or to the zoo.
The front wheel has a swivel function, which you can activate when you need extra maneuverability. Each Duallie model comes with mountain bike suspension, keeping the ride as smooth as possible.
The stroller runs smoothly across all surfaces because of the suspension and air-filled wheels. Your little ones won’t feel the bumps of an uneven road, and it’s easy to push.
Superior Maneuverability
Many parents praise the maneuverability of the Duallie 3.0. Upon activating the swivel function, it can handle sharp corners and obstacles. When in locked mode, it provides you with the stability needed for higher speeds.
Lots of Storage
We truly appreciate how much storage there is. You get an oversized basket under the seat. Then there are ten extra pockets located around the stroller for all your essentials and valuables.
What We Don't Like
Pretty Bulky
It’s not a pocket-sized stroller. It weighs over 33 pounds and takes up a significant amount of space when folded. Make sure you measure your trunk before purchasing this model.

User Experience
BOB Gear Revolution Flex 3.0
Best BOB Gear Stroller for Infants
If you’re hoping to stay active after your baby is born, BOB Gear Revolution Flex is an excellent pick. It is compatible with BOB Gear or Britax infant car seats and with most other major brands (using a compatible adapter) to make a complete travel system package.
Thanks to the mountain bike-inspired suspension, the stroller gives a smooth ride, even over curbs or an uneven trail. Air-filled tires enforce the power of the suspension, leveling out the surface you’re traveling on.
Your baby will stay safe due to Britax’s exclusive safety technology. It keeps your little one secure in your vehicle and the stroller.
What We Like
No Bumpy Rides
BOB Gear is famous for its mountain-bike-inspired suspension. Many parents praise how smooth the ride is and how easy it is to push, even across rough terrain. Air-filled tires are especially helpful when going over curbs and sidewalks.
Newborn-Friendly
The Revolution Flex will keep your little one safe whether you’re on daily walks or weekly hikes. It includes many of Britax’s safety technologies, providing protection well beyond federal standards. The integrated LATCH system lets you tighten and secure the seat quickly.
The car seat is for babies weighing between 4 and 35 pounds. Once your baby outgrows it, you can continue using the stroller until they are 75 pounds.
Ventilated Canopy
The car seat includes a ventilated canopy to keep your baby comfortable during warm days. It extends over the top, and together with the visor, it creates an enclosed space. This provides full protection for your little one from the elements while still being comfy.
Versatile Stroller
The Revolution Flex is the single version of the Duallie. It’s intended for busy parents who require a flexible stroller they can use for a variety of occasions.
The travel system is ideal if you have a newborn. However, the Flex 3.0 is also available as a single stroller.
It’s incredibly durable and made from aluminum alloy. The front wheel is adjustable, enabling the stroller to work well on the trail or in a crowded park.
What We Don't Like
Small Storage Basket
Considering the stroller’s size, some moms think the storage basket is too small. You can’t fit a large diaper bag, let alone other necessary items.

Personal Perspective
BOB Gear Alterrain Pro Jogging Stroller
Best BOB Gear Stroller for Jogging
The BOB Gear Alterrain Pro is built for high speeds and uneven terrain. It’s for the hardcore runner, ready to get back on the track as soon as possible post-baby. It’s different from other BOB Gear strollers that can also be used for daily activities. This one is specifically designed for jogging.
It’s suited with reflective rims and trim fixed onto lightweight wheelbases. This combo allows the stroller to fly over the track.
It’s equipped with a handbrake. Since this gear is quite heavy, it’s a valuable safety feature.
Any active parent will appreciate the adjustable handlebar. The seat is in an upright position, so your little one can enjoy the ride as you jog along the trail. Moreover, it has a magnetic peek-and-chat window.
What We Like
Great Safety Features
BOB Gear made the Alterrain Pro a perfect jogging buddy with your child around. Moreover, it’s also equipped with an extensive UPF 50 sun canopy. It comes with a peek window with a magnetic cover.

Adjustable Handlebar
The handlebar offers various settings to suit your needs. It’s pretty easy to adjust, and you can do it while walking.
Excellent Seat
This is not a stroller for sleeping in — it’s made for active parents and babies. The compression seat remains in an upright position, but it’s padded with breathable material, so your little one can stay cool.
What We Don't Like
Not for Everyday Chores
The Alterrain Pro isn’t meant for everyday use. It’s solely intended for jogging. The front wheel remains fixed, meaning it doesn’t turn as smoothly as other strollers.

BOB Gear Rambler Jogging Stroller
Best BOB Stroller for Travel
The Rambler is excellent for everyday activities such as trips to the market, light jogging, or a family outing. It’s a compact, featherweight version of other BOB Gear strollers, weighing approximately 25 pounds, which is relatively light compared to other models.
The frame is incredibly sturdy and can carry a weight of up to 75 pounds. It’s straightforward to fold and will fit in most vehicles’ trunks.
The Rambler makes family outings much more manageable. The front wheel is adjustable, meaning you can lock and unlock the swivel function as needed.
It’s fitted with all the best features, such as superior suspension, a large canopy, breathable material, and a robust chassis. And, you can choose between two colors — black and lagoon.
What We Like
Great for On-The-Go Parents
The Rambler is excellent for parents who commute. It weighs approximately 25 pounds, the lightest of all BOB Gear strollers on this list. Folding it is straightforward — it’s a two-step process, and the wheels are removable if you need it to fit in a small space.
Excellent Maneuverability
The Rambler turns on a dime thanks to the swivel function on the front wheel. Its air-filled, polymer tires run smoothly across various surfaces. The superior mountain-bike-inspired suspension evens out any bumps in the road.
Large Onboard Basket
Underneath the stroller sits an oversized storage basket where you can place all your necessities. It allows easy access from all sides, and it’s elevated, so it doesn’t get too dirty.
What We Don't Like
Doesn’t Stand When Folded
The stroller is easy to fold and will fit into many places. However, it doesn’t stand independently when folded and falls over quickly if not held on to.
Small Storage
The onboard storage is quite a let-down — it’s significantly smaller than other BOB Gear strollers. Some reviewers said there wasn’t even enough space for a diaper bag. This means you’ll have to find alternative ways to carry all your extra gear.

What Is BOB Gear?
BOB Gear was created by Roger Malinowski and Phillip Novotny, who met in 1994 (1). Malinowski was a bicycle industry expert, and Novotny was an airline mechanic.
When they first met, Novotny was producing and selling a modified cruiser bike, which he called the YAK. Malinowski quickly recognized an opportunity to create a booming business from Novotny’s product. Together they came up with the YAK trailer — changing forever how bikes carry gear.
Initially, they came up with the name “Beast of Burden;” however, the name wasn’t the great success they had hoped for. They renamed it “BOB” Gear — a simple, fun acronym that got people’s attention.
It wasn’t until Malinowski and Novotny had started families that their idea for a jogging stroller came to life. Their first example was the BOB Gear Sport Utility Stroller. It included all of BOB Gear’s patented features, like superior suspension, polymer wheels, and an easy-to-fold frame.
To ensure the stroller could withstand the rough nature of kids, they sought help from their children. By letting them flip, push, and jump on the stroller, they knew it was durable.
It was a success among consumers, who quickly requested another one designed for twins. Thus, the Duallie was born in 2001. The company continued developing innovative ideas, and in 2005, it created a swiveling front wheel to enhance turning.
BOB Gear Today
BOB Gear has been in business for nearly two decades and still produces jogging strollers fit for parents with varying lifestyles. However, the ownership has since changed — in 2011, a British juvenile products company named Britax acquired BOB Gear.
Britax has been in the industry since 1939. So by combining its experience with BOB Gear’s innovations, it’s become a giant enterprise in today’s market.
The BOB Gear branch continues its commitment to providing families with high-quality strollers. It’s determined to help parents lead an active lifestyle by allowing them to take even the newest family member with them.
Bob Gear Stroller-Related Accessories
BOB Gear offers a few add-on accessories to improve your experience. These are:
- Duallie Jogging Stroller Snack Tray: Children often build up an appetite when out exploring, so an onboard snack tray is appreciated. This tray is for the Duallie stroller — it features two cup holders and flat surfaces for snacks or toys. You attach it to each side of the stroller and then release one side when loading or unloading.
- BOB Gear Handlebar Console for Single Jogging Strollers: To keep your on-the-go lifestyle manageable, we recommend this handlebar console for single strollers. It’s water- and stain-resistant, with bottle holders and a large zippered center pocket. It attaches using four hook-and-loop straps, keeping it secure while on the go.
- BOB Gear Travel Bag for Single Jogging Strollers: To avoid damage to your stroller while traveling, use this single stroller travel bag that fits strollers like the Alterrain, Alterrain Pro, Blaze, Rambler, Revolution series, and Stroller Strides 2016. The bag measures 20.7 inches by 10.4 inches by 34.6 inches. You can carry it using the shoulder strap or side handle. Before using it, remove the accessories and wheels from the stroller.
- BOB Gear Sun Shield for Single Jogging Strollers: This sun shield is a breathable mesh screen that encases the stroller, protecting your baby from the sun, flying insects, and wind. It’s compatible with BOB Gear single jogging strollers and the Revolution Flex. It attaches around the stroller using elastic, making it easy to put on and remove.
- Britax and BOB Gear Car Seat Adapter: To transform your single BOB Gear stroller into a travel system, you can use this car seat adapter. It’s compatible with any BOB Gear or Britax car seat. However, it’s only for use on single strollers, and you shouldn’t run with the car seat attached.
- Britax and BOB Gear Car Seat Adapter for BOB Gear Duallie: This adapter is excellent if you have an infant and a toddler riding together. It enables you to attach a car seat on one side with a snack tray on the other. The adapter is compatible with any Duallie stroller produced after 2011.
- BOB Gear Single Jogging Stroller Adapter for Graco Infant Car Seats: If you have a Graco car seat and a BOB Gear stroller, this adapter makes the two compatible. It attaches effortlessly to the stroller and keeps the Graco seat secured. It’s only compatible with car seats produced after 2016.
